Mark Adams
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark joined the company in 2006 as the chief financial officer responsible for the company's financial operations and its business and operational planning functions. Mark was named CEO and president of A.D.A.M. in January 2010. Prior to joining the company, he served as chief financial officer of Miller Zell and before that he served as chief financial officer for several technology companies, including Micron Optics and Melita International, where he guided the company through its initial public offering. Mark began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Keith Cox
Chief Technology Officer

Keith joined A.D.A.M. in 2009 to direct A.D.A.M.’s engineering and information technology resources and to formulate and execute the company’s technology vision and roadmap. He most recently served as the Director of Global Partner Business Development in Developer & Platform Evangelism, a division of Microsoft’s Server and Tools Organization where he led business development and technology strategy initiatives for Microsoft’s largest global partners in healthcare. Before joining Microsoft Corporation in 2001, he held the position of Vice President of Software Development for Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group. Previously, he was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of JobCostOnline.com and was a co-founder of Healthcare.com. In his career, Cox has held senior technology leadership and advisory positions with McKesson/HBOC, Gerber Alley/First Data Corporation and BellSouth Telecommunication’s Science & Technology organization. Keith also sits on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).

John George
Senior Vice President, Sales

John joined the company in May 2007. A seasoned healthcare executive, George most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Per-Se Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded healthcare software technology firm acquired by McKesson Corporation in January 2007. Under John’s direction, the company experienced significant growth within its business services and technology solutions for healthcare. He also was directly responsible for winning key contracts with some of the largest U.S. healthcare providers and negotiating major contracts with the top U.S. healthcare payers. In addition to his sales role, he served as Per-Se's Senior Vice President and CTO of Research and Development, overseeing all software development efforts. Prior to his engagement with Per-Se, he held the role of Vice President of North American Operations for Synavant, a large developer of PRM/CRM solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, which was acquired by Dendrite.

Rick Leach
Senior Vice President, Health Solutions

Rick joined A.D.A.M. in 2008 after a diverse career working with both start-up and Fortune 100 companies in healthcare and other industries. In addition to providing strategic marketing and business development consulting services to CEOs of consumer internet and healthcare companies during the past several years, he has held executive positions that ranged from Vice President of Marketing to CEO for several start-up companies. Rick also spent five years as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for McKesson Health Solutions. Prior to McKesson, he had product and marketing responsibility for two of the earliest nationally recognized healthcare brands: 1-800-DOCTORS and ASK-A-NURSE. Rick was one of the founders of Access Health, and helped them conduct a successful IPO. Before becoming involved in the healthcare industry, Rick spent nearly 10 years at J. Walter Thompson Company, one of the largest advertising agencies in the country.
