The Animation Player was created for easy browsing and playing of A.D.A.M.'s 135+ award-winning, sound and video animations.
Users can search for animations alphabetically, by body system, or medical specialty. Each animation includes a description and preview window. Once an animation is selected, a narrator on the soundtrack explains what the user is viewing. Users can also supplement their learning with related text displayed in the browser window while the animation plays.

The Body Guide
The Body Guide is a unique visual road map of the human body. Users can learn about the different systems of the body through interactive anatomy, illustrations, and text. In this visually rich A.D.A.M. offering, a user can toggle between a review of both the male and female anatomy. A mouse-over feature provides specific nomenclature of over 230 hot spots, identifying various structures within the 12 major systems of the human body. AOA allows users to point, click, and identify more than 20,000 anatomical structures within fully dissectible male and female bodies in anterior, lateral, medial and posterior views. The user is able to dissect the body layer by layer or use a scroll bar to navigate deeper. This unique "dissection" application offers an interactive approach to discovering the human body.
