Welcome to the New Benergy!

We’ve been listening to our customers and, in response to what you’ve told us, we’ve been expanding our Benergy team, adding new technologies, implementing new processes, and accelerating the pace of product development – all with one goal in mind – to bring you the best online benefits experience available.

That’s why we are very excited to officially unveil our new business unit brand identity – Benergy Interworks – along with expanding solution suites backed by world-class client service.

Our enhanced Benergy Interworks’ solution suites include:

  • Benergy Brokerworks™ gives brokers the technology tools and resources they need to increase agency efficiencies, improve customer service, and drive new client acquisition. Solutions range from Benergy AgencyWare, to help them streamline every aspect of their agency operations, to Benergy Advisor Tools, an online resource with current market trend reports and the latest regulatory and health reform information to help them win new accounts.
  • Benergy Talentworks™ provides employers with the online benefits technology solutions they need to significantly save time and money, improve employee satisfaction, and comply with the latest regulations. For employees, this means online access to the information they need to better manage their benefits, their health, and their lives.

    Solutions range from Benergy Communications, a web-based platform that provides 24/7 online access to benefits, award-winning health and wellness, and human resources information, to Benergy Helpline, for outsourced employee benefits call center support. Combined with the recently introduced Benergy NurseLine and Benergy Employee Assistance Program*, employees have easy access, via web or telephone, to experts who can help them across a broad base of concerns.  
  • Benergy Proworks™ includes a full suite of professional services delivered by an expanded client services team. The company recently introduced the Benergy Support Portal to provide clients with quick, efficient help via live chat, email, and telephone as part of its goal to deliver the highest levels of responsiveness and ongoing support. Clients will be able to take advantage of expanding Benergy Knowledgeworks™ product training and certification courses, available online and in-person. In addition, the support team is introducing new implementation tools and advanced processes to ensure fast, efficient implementations.
  • Benergy Dataworks™ includes Benergy Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to ensure the secure exchange of employee benefits data. The company currently processes hundreds of data feeds per week to insurance carriers, payroll providers, and HRIS systems for its expanding client base.

New Benergy NurseLine & Benergy EAP & More

We’re excited to introduce some new and enhanced Benergy solutions.

  • Benergy NurseLine – Benergy is introducing Benergy NurseLine, an employee care service that can be seamlessly incorporated with the Benergy Communications platform.  Administered in partnership with OptumHealth Care Services, this new service provides employees with access to a team of registered nurses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a dedicated toll-free telephone number, who can help them choose appropriate medical care, find a doctor or hospital, save money on prescriptions, and much more.

  • Benergy Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benergy is also introducing Benergy Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which can be integrated with the Benergy Communications platform.  Administered in partnership with OptumHealth Care Services, this new service is designed to provide confidential support 24 hours a week, 7 days a week via a dedicated toll-free telephone number. The service ranges from short-term counseling and referrals to more extended care.

  • Updated Costs & Trends data in Benergy Advisor Tools Benergy has updated the Costs & Trends data on benefit costs, benefits management, health plans, and retirement plans from expert industry sources available in Advisor Tools. This product is an online broker toolbox filled with exclusive benchmarking reports, HR sources, current regulatory and health reform information.

Introducing the New Benergy Support Portal

With a goal of delivering world-class support to our expanding customer base, we’re pleased to give you three ways to contact Benergy Client Services to get quick assistance:

  • Online – Benergy Support Portal 
  • Email – benergy@adam.com
  • Phone – 1-800-475-4041

With our new Benergy Support Portal, you can log a new case or check the status of existing cases at any time using our online Case Management system.  You can get to the Benergy Support Portal via Benergy Central or Benergy Control Center, then click on “Contact Support.”

If you have a quick question, you can also access Live Chat through the Support Portal and a Benergy support representative will contact you during our normal support hours. Please note: If you need to discuss sensitive or confidential information, please use the Case Management system.

If you prefer to send an email or wish to request access to the Case Management system, you can create a case by emailing benergy@adam.com.

For urgent matters, please call Benergy Client Services at 800-475-4041.

Our normal business hours (Eastern Time):

  • Monday — 9am – 7pm

The Benerg y Interworks team is pleased to introduce the first annual Benergy Builder Awards program. We’re continually excited by the creative, innovative, and amazing Benergy sites that our customers are building using the Benergy Communications Platform.  So if you think your online employee benefits site is a cut above the rest or you’re using out-of-the box creative methods to engage employees and drive utilization, it’s time to get the recognition you deserve!

We will be recognizing Benergy Builders in four categories including:

  • Best OverallThe Benergy sites that are a combination of the most creative, most innovative, and highlight HR excellence in terms of the site launch and ongoing utilization.
  • Most CreativeThe Benergy sites that have the most creative design or creative elements to drive utilization.
  • Most InnovativeThe Benergy sites that have the most innovative use of technology. (i.e., customized banners, links to meet specific requirement).

Judging

Meet Your Client Services Team

Bridgette Funderburk
Implementation and Client Support Lead

Bridgette Funderburk is the team lead for implementation and client support for Benergy.  Bridgette was recently promoted to this role after serving as Implementation specialist since 2008. Prior to joining the company, Bridgette was the human resources outsourcing lead at The McCart Group, where she led the HR outsourcing team for all of the benefits and payroll services offered, including implementing HR and payroll solutions and end user training. 

Bridgette is a native of Charlotte, NC. Outside of work she likes to spend time with her family and travel.

Quick Tip

When making changes to Design-It-Yourself, remember to approve your changes as well as save them. 

Steps

  1. Go to the Organization Tab.             
  2. Click on Design It Yourself.
  3. Choose Change Design.
  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Click the Save button (the orange Save button located at the bottom of the page).
  6. Preview your changes.
  7. Go to approve changes. (You can get there by hitting the next button to the end of this section or by going to preview/approve them at the top of the first page on this section.)
  8. Once you select Approved, a message will appear that your changes have been approved.
  9. All changes will then be viewable on the portal.
