A.D.A.M. has just launched the new A.D.A.M. Health Navigator, designed to facilitate a true connection between the health topics consumers are searching online and your services and providers. It incorporates a new visual search interface with comprehensive results that include symptoms, diseases, injuries, tests, self care and surgeries. New progressive 3D avatars representing four ethnicities – Caucasian, African American, Hispanic and Asian – give you the option to specify ethnicity as well as the gender and age that best represent your target audience and allow you to build a closer relationship with your community.
Attract consumers with this highly interactive tool to help them quickly find relevant health information. License the A.D.A.M. Health Navigator for your website, or if you’re an existing A.D.A.M. Symptom Navigator client learn how to upgrade today. Contact your client relationship manager for a demo!
During this year’s Virtual Client Summit we received requests to create more Twitter Tweets that clients can use in their social marketing. We listened and have added a whole new collection of Twitter Tweets in our Marketing Toolkit. Download the Twitter Tweets document and select your favorite tweets from the 2011 health observances, products or service lines tabs. The tweets are designed to be used with a short URL to link back to your website. Create a short URL with a product like bit.ly or tiny url. You can also use a snippet from one of our articles, as long as you link back to the full article on your website.
We’ve also created a Facebook fan page that you can add to your existing page to showcase the A.D.A.M. health information on your website. Make sure to spread the word to your community and patients by adding the A.D.A.M. products that you license to your Facebook fan page with your own A.D.A.M. product fan page tab. Simply set up the tab on your Facebook page, add hyperlinks to the products on your website and remove any products you do not license. To request the HTML code, please contact your client relationship manager or email email@example.com.
Engaging your web visitors with health information is just the beginning. Use A.D.A.M. to connect them to your services and providers by mapping your services lines to A.D.A.M. articles, or highlight classes and procedures with embedded messages. To help you create even more actionable information on your website, and to allow even better integration of A.D.A.M. information, we now offer mapping to additional medical specialty metadata and to additional A.D.A.M. products!
There are now 42 medical specialties mapped to every article in both the Multimedia Encyclopedia and the Health Illustrated Encyclopedia. New specialties include: anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, podiatry and radiation oncology. And now we’ve also mapped specialties to In-Depth Reports articles and DecisionAssist tools, giving you even more ways to connect people to your services from A.D.A.M. health information.
Contact your client relationship manager or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We also welcome your suggestions for new specialties to include in the future.
Orthopedic issues are one of the most common reasons people seek medical care. This month, we’re highlighting the Orthopedic Center, one of eight health centers designed to showcase your medical specialties and promote a comprehensive approach to the diagnoses, treatment and prevention of specific conditions and clinical areas.
The Orthopedic Center gives your website viewers one convenient place to find in-depth information on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care of conditions that affect bones and joints. It also helps your visitors become more aware of the steps they can take to stay healthy, and the options they have when they need medical services. Links to current health related news articles provided by Reuters Health help them stay informed of recent developments in health. Also includes sections for a Health Library, Tests and Treatments, Animations, Healthy Lifestyle, Sports Injuries, DecisionAssist and Health Assessments.
There are two designated areas in the center's home page for your customized information, such as a welcome message, call to action, and links to other areas of your website to allow you to easily promote your hospital’s services and web pages.
Attract and retain website visitors with topical health information in one place and establish your organization as the premier provider of orthopedic health services. To add the Orthopedic Health Center to your website or learn more, email email@example.com or contact your client relationship manager today.
Make sure you've mapped your service lines to your A.D.A.M. content to make the most of the health information on your website, especially now that we've enhanced our medical specialty metadata. For assistance, please contact your client relationship manager.
Have a safe and happy holiday season!
